Fire Safety Training for Safety Advisers, Wardens & Staff
Fire safety is serious stuff, but with Safety and Learning Techniques (SaLT), taking care of your fire safety training obligations and needs couldn’t be easier.
As a safety-focused registered training organisation, SaLT can deliver accredited and non-accredited fire safety training for your entire workforce or for select members of staff such as fire safety advisers and fire wardens.
This helps to protect both your people and your premises in the event of a fire-related emergency.
Available training courses
Under Queensland building and safety laws, some buildings and certain industry workplaces must appoint a fire safety adviser (FSA). SaLT helps you stay compliant by ensuring your FSAs hold a current fire safety qualification. We also offer both accredited (PUAWER005B and PUAWER006B) and non-accredited training for fire wardens so they can safeguard people, comply with regulations and respond effectively to emergencies.
Of course, fire safety training isn’t just important for FSAs and fire wardens. Instead, all your staff can benefit from fire safety training. SaLT makes sure they’re taken care of with emergency evacuation training and drills. We can also teach your people how to use fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.
Why work with SaLT?
With SaLT, you can take care of all your fire safety training needs with the one provider, making fire safety that little bit simpler. This includes taking care of both initial two-day FSA training and one-day FSA refresher courses.
Our commitment to fire safety doesn’t just stop at training either. Where necessary, we can help you audit, review and update your current emergency procedures to protect your people and your compliance.
And because we believe in flexible training that’s customised to suit you, your business and your workplace, our accredited and non-accredited fire safety courses can be delivered onsite at your premises or at another venue to suit you. You choose.
